J.S. Bach and the Menuet

This 17 page music history powerpoint will help aid you in teaching abut the baroque period and minuets to you students. J.S. Bach is featured, as is the G Major minuet from the Notebook from Anna Magdalena Bach. Students will learn about the minuet, the harpsichord, watch a video of people dancing the menuet, and have an opportunity to look at the manuscript of the famous G Major Menuet. Students will also learn how Bach didn't actually compose the menuet, and why some of the Notebook from Anna Magdalena Bach is in Anna Magdalena's own handwriting!
