$50
This course walks you through the step-by-step process for learning how to play the piano with chords. I will not expect you to just imitate my own playing, but rather I will give you tools that you can apply to any chord chart. We will learn about the difference between major and minor chords, inversions and sus chords, and decode three chord charts. At the end of the course you will know how to play a holiday piece with broken chords, a Pop song with blocked chords, and a Folk song with melody + arpeggiated chords. I’ll break it down into a simple system for you!

What’s included in this course?
I’m a teacher, how can I use this course?
Most of teachers (myself included) were not taught to read chord charts, so it’s difficult for us to pass that skill along to students. This course will give you the confidence to understand chords charts and be able to teach them to your intermediate students. Feel free to use the included PDFs to print and give to your students as assignments!
How does this course work?
This course is a 6 module course covering one concept – a complete digital learning experience. Immediately after you purchase this class, you will be able to login to your lessons. All of the lessons are hosted in a members-only website, and your access link will be sent to you via email. You can work through each lesson at your own pace. The course is taught though videos and PDF downloads. It’s really the best of both worlds – you get to see me demonstrate the materials at the piano + explain the concepts. Nothing physical will be shipped to you, and no in-person events will be included.
How much time do I have to invest in the course?
You’ll have immediate access to every single lesson as soon as you purchase this class; feel free to work through everything at your own pace. Total video running time is 2 hours, so you can binge watch and finish the whole class in a day! However, I suggest spreading it out over 6 weeks (one lesson per week) to give yourself enough time to practice the concepts. Being able to play all of the concepts on the piano depends on the time that you yourself put into practicing, but you can refer back to all the class videos + PDFs as much as you need.
What if I hate it?
Full online courses can be a hefty investment, so that’s why I created this smaller course with a small price tag. I’m quite sure you won’t hate it 🙂 But if you decide within 48 hours of purchasing this class that it’s not for you, then send me an email and I’ll refund every penny. The refund window is short because I want to teach you this specific skill on the piano, and not just have a course that’s collecting dust on your computer.
Do I have to have a Piano?
This entire class is taught from the piano, so yes, you will need a piano or keyboard to practice the concepts. If you don’t own one, find a friend who does!
Can I ask you more questions?
Of course! — send an email to info@pianoprogram.com and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
